FOUR LANGUAGES, TRACKED SEPARATELY
You may have known “puddle” for ages. You’re unsure about “калюжа”. “Charco” is new. Lexomio keeps track of these differences.
Any language can be your starting point. Your progress is saved separately for each language.
You practise exactly the language where the expression is still missing.

Wiping away crumbs. Spilling water. Moving a meeting. Small things you need the right words for.
BEFORE YOU START
What Lexomio can do – and what’s still in the works.
For people whose language skills are spread unevenly. For example, you may already speak good English and German but want to use the same everyday expressions in Spanish or Ukrainian too. Three source languages help you understand the meaning.
No. All four languages are equal. You choose the target language and use the others as hints. You can also show just one or two language hints.
With an account (email and password). Your progress is saved per expression, target language and exercise type and synced across all your devices. Lexomio schedules reviews over days and weeks. The library keeps growing. The app’s interface is currently in German.
Lexomio compares your answer with checked wordings and variants. Upper and lower case, punctuation and apostrophes don’t matter, but letters such as ñ, ä or ї do. If only an accent is missing in Spanish (pais instead of país), the answer counts as correct – with a note on the spelling. If your answer isn’t stored, Lexomio doesn’t simply say “wrong”: your progress stays unchanged, and you can optionally ask for an AI assessment.
Pronunciation comes from natural voices (ElevenLabs) – the same ones in the app and on this page. If a recording is ever missing for an expression, the app can optionally use your device’s voice; it is then clearly labelled as such.
Lexomio trains your vocabulary and written expression and helps you understand pronunciation. A certain number of learned entries doesn’t guarantee a language level. Speaking fluently also takes real conversation practice.
